Building Biology Timetable (2024)

The Advanced Diploma of Building Biology (10913NAT) consists of nine online subjects (start anytime) and three subjects requiring live zoom sessions and field training.

MOULD TESTING TECHNICIAN COURSE

Prerequisite: none
Investment: $2,495
This 3-month course consists of live zoom sessions over eight evenings plus two-day field training. The zoom sessions and field training are compulsory.

ELECTROBIOLOGY TESTING TECHNICIAN COURSE

Prerequisite: must have completed Electricity Fundamentals subject (available online).

This 3-month course involves live zoom sessions over eight zoom sessions (Tuesday evenings) plus two days of field training. The zoom sessions and field trip are compulsory.

GEOMANCY SUBJECT

Prerequisite: none.
Investment: $895
This is an ELECTIVE subject. This 3-month course consists of live zoom sessions over 4 evenings plus 1/2 day field training. Subject includes a free pair of dowsing rods.

SAMPLING METHODS SUBJECT

Prerequisite: must have completed the Air Pollution subject.
Investment: $2,495
This 3-month course involves live zoom sessions over 5 evenings. Students will be required to hire the equipment from ACES to conduct lead and chemical sampling of a home. A refundable deposit of $400 is required to hire the kit, and students need to pay the cost to return the kit to ACES (refer to Terms and Conditions). No on-campus training required.
